Dominique La Fontaine is Principal Consultant – Climate Change Strategy with Pitt & Sherry.   In this role she helps develop commercial climate change solutions for clients, assisting them to navigate global, national and local climate change regulatory frameworks and participate in policy and regulatory development.

Dominique La Fontaine is an accomplished strategic, commercial and public policy specialist. Her work includes leadership of policy development and advocacy as it relates to Australia’s response to emission reduction.

As the inaugural CEO of the Clean Energy Council Dominique led the development and advocacy of the Council’s policy framework and was integral to the introduction of national clean energy policy. Under her leadership, the Clean Energy Council quickly became recognised as a pre-eminent climate change advocacy organisation.

Dominique played a key role in the establishment of the Global Wind Energy Council as a member of the Executive and has participated in the Asia Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate. She represented the clean energy industry at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Bali and was a founding member of the International Business Council for Sustainable Energy. Dominique has well developed networks in the clean energy sector, government and bureaucracy.
